Where it started
- There was no company plan.
- There was a house that wanted tidying and a man who wanted to sit down for a minute.
- I sat down with a cup of coffee and wrote an idea in two lines to sort out the housework.
- Two lines became ten, ten became an app.
- Nice, what's next?
- Then came the trip log, the word game, and the little one who grows every day and deserves an app too.
- Every time we do the same thing: write a line, listen to the story.
- What's the company called?
- We didn't have to think. The name was there from the start.
- And the coffee? It never ran out.
Why “Satr wa Salfah”?
A line is what you write in your notebook: a list, an errand, a memory. The story is what sits behind it: the people you love and the moment you shared.
That is why our logo is a ruled page inside a speech bubble: the line and the story in one drawing. Every line has a story.

We write and design in Arabic from the start, then reach other languages. Qaddi speaks nine, so everyone at home understands.
